Seabed Mapping Workshop (Brussels, 23-24 February 2015)

BILAT USA 2.0 project co-organises the "Seabed Mapping Workshop", as a direct follow-up of the Atlantic Seabed Mapping Workshop held in Dublin on 2 December 2014, which aimed to discuss the implementation of the Galway Statement on Atlantic Ocean Cooperation (signed on 24 May 2014) on the specific topic of seabed mapping cooperation. 

Following the workshop in Dublin, a Working Group was established to advance the recommendations and action points agreed at the meeting. The Seabed Mapping breakout session will be the first meeting of the Working Group, composed of international stakeholders from Europe, the United States and Canada. The working group will discuss the Dublin Workshop agreements and define a work plan for the group. The Atlantic Seabed Mapping Workshop report will be distributed prior to the meeting.
