Workshop: How to innovate in medtech? Experiences and collaborations from EU and USA

The workshop Innovating in Medtech, Experiences from EU and USA organised by Biocat with the support of the European project BILAT USA 2.0, will take place on July 21st 2015 at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB).

The workshop will focus on the regulatory and reimbursement issues for medtech products both in EU and in the USA to identify the differences and the key elements to consider when entering both markets. Additionally, innovative business models in med tech industry will be also presented to understand new trends in innovating in med tech products. 

The event will also include several talks on real-case innovations which have been born in the hospitals and have been developed until the introduction of the product into the market. These presentations will also include live demonstrations of the products.  

It will be an international event addressed to entrepreneurs, SMEs, start-up companies, professionals working in innovation in the healthcare system, hospital innovation managers, tech transfer professionals, both from the EU and the USA.
