Policy workshop “Towards enhanced EU-US innovation collaboration through policy measures” – Report available!

While EU-US RDI collaboration is now relatively well established, there are still barriers that need to be addressed in order to increase businesses and SMEs’ participation in this cooperation, some of which could be tackled with policy measures.

It was to this end that the high-ranking policy workshop “Towards enhanced EU-US innovation collaboration through policy measures” was held in Brussels on 14th January 2015, morning, prior to the EU-US Innovation Conference. The BILAT USA 2.0 team is now willing to share the workshop report, which summarizes the event’s highlights, the most interesting recommendations made, and both speakers’ and participants’ opinions on how to improve EU-US innovation collaboration.

Some of the ideas discussed at the workshop will be integrated into an updated version of the policy brief, which will shortly be available for perusal on the BILAT USA 2.0 project website and disseminated to key relevant policy makers.
