Conference JPI Health Diet for a Healthy Life (HDHL)

The vision of JPI HDHL is that in 2030 all Europeans will have the motivation, ability and opportunity to consume a healthy diet from a variety of foods, have healthy levels of physical activity and the incidence of diet-related diseases will have decreased significantly. As part of the next phase of Joint Programming, the Implementation Plan will be launched at the 2nd international conference of JPI HDHL. The focus of our 2nd conference will be on the chances and barriers of this second phase.

The College of Exploration and NOAA have joined in partnership to offer a 5-week online workshop entitled Deep-sea Discoveries in the Atlantic onboard the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer: An Online Workshop to Advance Transatlantic Ocean Literacy. The workshop will run from March 3 - April 4, 2014, and is free to all participants. Keynote speakers will join educators, scientists, policymakers and others interested in learning more about deep-sea features, ecosystems and biological hotspots in the Atlantic.
