Audience:
The Presentation Video and Interactive Q&A are designed for research administrators and faculty at research institutions who work with NIH grants and are responsible for understanding NIH grants policies.

 

Purpose:
The Eye on NIH Policy: OMB Uniform Guidance - What It Means for NIH & You Presentation Video provides viewers with information on recent and upcoming changes to NIH policy as a result of the publication of HHS' regulations implementing OMB's Uniform Guidance, and how it affects the grants process. The Interactive Q&A provides an opportunity for the grantee community to get their questions answered by NIH policy officials.

Viewing of the Presentation Video:
The PowerPoint presentation titled "NIH Implementation of Uniform Guidance" is pre-recorded and available on the NIH Grants YouTube Channel. View the presentation video in advance so that you can develop your list of unanswered questions for the Interactive Q&A.

 

 

Get your Questions Answered during the Interactive Q&A:
The Interactive Q&A on Thursday, March 12 provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions and get clarification directly from NIH policy experts about NIH's implementation of HHS' Regulations implementing OMB's Uniform Guidance.

 

Panelists: Representatives from the NIH Office of Policy for Extramural Research (OPERA).
