Towards the establishment of a permanent European Virtual Institute dedicated to Malaria Research (EVIMalaR) (EVIMALAR)

Evimalar is a proposed Network of Excellence (NoE) that combines 42 of the European Union's leading malaria research groups from 27 institutions together with 4 leading African Institutions, the ICGEB from India and with representation from the Australian Malaria Research Network. Collectively the non-Australian participants of the NoE have published >900 research articles in the past 5 years with >250 of these published jointly with other member(s) of the NoE.
